Most Reverend John Michael D'Arcy, the only son of Irish immigrants, was born on August 18th, 1932, in Boston, Massachusetts. His parents, (both deceased) were Michael John and Margaret (Moran) D'Arcy. He is survived by two sisters: Sister Anne D'Arcy, a Sister of St. Joseph; and Joan Sheridan (and husband Hugh), and brother-in-law Vito. His sister Mary Caprio preceded him in death. He is also survived by several nephews, a niece, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
