Ester Griffey, 79, of rural Urbana, Indiana, died at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at his home. He was born January 22, 1933 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Alie J. and Dulcie May (Roop) Griffey. Ester married Shirley M. (Ryan) Grogg at the Eagles Lodge in Wabash on April 29, 1989. He worked 34 years at General Tire in Wabash retiring in 1994. Ester was US Army veteran.
