Marilyn J. Gilbert, 82, died Thursday, December 13, 2012. Born in Woodburn, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Artie Messmann. Marilyn was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven; and had worked as a cook and waitress at several local restaurants through the years.
